Dr. Ayhan Sarı is a faculty member in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the Turkish-German University. He completed his undergraduate education in 2015 at the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Yıldız Technical University. He received his master's degree from the Department of Political Science at Sabancı University in 2017. Sarı earned his doctorate from the Department of Political Science at Freie Universität Berlin in 2022 with his thesis titled “How Ethnic Conflict Changes Ethnic Identity: The Case of Syrian Civil War.” His areas of expertise include conflict resolution, constructivism, ethnic wars, Syria, and qualitative research methods. He works as a researcher at the Türkiye Research Foundation.
