Assistant Professor Yunus Furuncu is a faculty member at Kocaeli University. Furuncu completed his bachelor's and master's degrees at the Vienna University of Economics and Business in 2009 and worked in the private sector in the energy field for approximately five years. He completed his doctorate at Düzce University in 2016 with a thesis titled “Turkey's Energy Dependency.” His areas of expertise include energy and strategic management. He works as a senior researcher at the Türkiye Research Foundation.
